The Limpopo Tooling Initiative (LTI), Association Incorporated under Section 21, has been established in 2007 by National Tooling Initiative Programme (NTIP), in consultation with Limpopo Economic Development, Environment & Tourism (LEDET). The Limpopo Tooling Initiative (LTI), a programme of the National Tooling Initiative (NTI), was the second of such programmes to be launched nationally

To be the leader in manufacturing solutions geared towards industrialization of the Limpopo province.

To champion manufacturing through partnerships and Enterprise development.
Limpopo Tooling Initiative Executive Structure?
LTI is a multi-stakeholder initiative which means is comprises of Board members from various institutions namely, Limpopo Tooling Association Tooling of South Africa (7 x members), Limpopo Provincial Government (2 x members), Academic (1 x member), Social Partners (Youth, Women and people with disabilities), MerSETA represantative. This is to ensure that an effective skills development programme and a Comprehensive competitive supplier development programme is developed and implemented in order for the provincial manufacturing value chain to regain its market share.
